I have just installed an eMotion LS on my Cambrai - although the lights and smoke are not yet connected. To my surprise at start-up the sound is 'off' until F6 (CV 147) is activated. On all my other locos with sound, the sound is on straightaway. I would prefer it this way. How can I change it?
Also I note that the intructions that came with the unit refer to A1, A2, etc, whereas the version I downloaded from the web (so as to have it in colour) refers to S1, S2 etc. But both documents are version 2.2 01/09. Is there any ignificance in this difference? |

Peter,
I have set CV49 =3 (and checked by doing a CV reading). But still no sound when I first power up. The sound has to be turned on - in my case by F8 (CV147=8 to be cosnistent with other locos). Otherwise everything works as it should. I like the random sound generation feature.

| 24 hours later when I switch on, the sound is there. So I don't understand why it wasn't yesterday! |
