Has anyone tried to use the lgb 55068 USB adapter cable
with the DiMax PC module or 1210z central station.
It would be able nice to be able to use the system with
newer lap tops / desk tops that do not have RS-232 plugs.
I have had limited success with USB adapters.

Hi David,
most USB adapters work, you only could get problems with "low cost" adapters.
Buy an adapter that is not sold as an special offer at lowest price
