Hi,
I recently installed an 8FL into one of my USA Trains baywindow cabooses to control the FRED and the internal lights. The unit works perfectly, but sadly the power pickups on the caboose itself aren't great so the decoder keeps resetting and switching the lights off. Whilst intend to upgrade the pickups, I was just wondering if it possible to fit one of the power buffers to the 8FL and if this would make much difference when it runs through the switch frogs for example?
