In two places in this addendum, it talks about "Special Mode" (A1 and B1) without saying anything further about what the "Special Mode" is.

Is this a new option in the Main Menu (M3)?

Peter,

Yes, I have got the revised version of the Addendum, but I still don't see how you get the "Special Mode". The manual tells me how you know that you've got it engaged, but not how to do that.

I have doenloaded version 1.7 on to one of my Navigators, and tried the various menus, but don't see how, for instance, to engage Special Mode B1 so that I can store the last 16 operations of points (switches) and signals. Also is it possible to have Special Mode B1 and B" at the same time?

Ian

Peter, I have now got the revised version of the addendum for 1.7, and I have also downloaded 1.7 on to one of my navigators. But I still don't see how you get this mode. The addendum tells me how I can see whether the Special Mode is in operation, but not how to get it; and I haven't been able to find it in any menu.

Please explain!!

Ian

Hi Ian,

this addendum was written from an engineer, so i think some points are not described, while he is too much involved Laughing
I will take that addendum and will check it on my test layout at home.
I have no garden train as my hobby, so i think i see that with more distance and can better describe the manual as a novice.
Will revised it again in 1-2 days.

Best regards,

Peter

Peter,

While the addendum talks of 5.4.7 - presumably in the Navigator manual, the latest version of the Navigator manual (version 1.51) does not have a section 5.4.7. Whoever wrote the addendum, obviously thought that this was covered in the latest vesion of the manual.

Hi Ian,

that's while we called it "addendum" Very Happy
5.4.6 is the latest entry, the next free entry is 5.4.7.

Ian, this is only a workaround till the next revision comes Very Happy
Be patient,

best regards

Peter
